GREENSBORO- Darius White (5’11,193) signs with the Carolina Cobras for his first year of arena football.
White started his college playing career at Trinity Valley Community College in 2012. As a freshman at Trinity Valley, White had 46 tackles and one interception. In 2013, White continued to play for Trinity Valley and recorded 60 tackles and six interceptions. That season, Trinity Valley advanced to the C.H.A.M.P.S Heart of Texas Bowl. In that game, White had a tackle for a loss and an interception. In 2014, White transferred to Georgia Southern University, where he was then redshirted and didn’t play. In 2015, White started 11 of the 13 games and recorded 36 tackles, forced a fumble, had a fumble recovery, a blocked kick, two interceptions, and 10 pass breakups.
Scott is a native of Belton, Texas and played high school football at Belton High School in Belton, Texas. Instead of playing football in high school, White played basketball in his junior and senior year. In those two years combined, White played in 58 games and scored a total of 271 points, which is an average of 4.67 points per game.
