GREENSBORO - Tyree Robinson (5’10”, 200), the former Jacksonville Shark/Maine Mammoth, has signed with the Cobras for the upcoming season.

In 2015 Robinson began his professional career in the IFL, where he played indoor football for the Cedar Rapids Titans. From there he played for the Spokane Empire for two seasons before moving into the arena football game and joining the Jacksonville Sharks and Maine Mammoths in 2018.

Prior to his professional career, Robinson attended and played football at Western Kentucky University. There, he accrued 168 total tackles, a fumble recovery, a forced fumble, and six interceptions.

Head coach Billy Back has high praises for his new back. “TC is a smart, aggressive, physical, veteran defensive back,” Back reports. “He’s a handful to play against and we are happy to finally get to have his abilities in the right colors this season. We are looking forward to big things from him.”

Robinson is a native of Dundee, Florida, where he played football at Haines City High School.
